It is a pleasure to know that one perk still offered to employees of large businesses is the complimentary coffee that keeps so many workers focused and on task. Some employees are looking for a jumpstart in the morning, while others need a little help getting over that afternoon hump.
Reaching for the coffeepot only to find it empty is a real let-down for employees, not a happy perk? Moreover, what of those who make it to the kitchen before the coffee runs out only to find what resembles a cup of mud from setting for hours? It is not so much a ‘perk’ when employees come to enjoy a hot cup of java, only to find themselves needing to scrub the burned coffeepot that greeted them.
